German humanist. Professor in Ingolstadt 1520, in Tübingen 1521. The famous Epistulae virorum obscurorum, composed by Crotus Rubianus (Joh. Jäger) and Ulrich von Hutten are a virulent satire of the opponents of J.R., to whom they are addressed.
